This report presents key approaches and lessons from the implementation of the Young Women for Awareness, Agency, Advocacy and Accountability (YW4A) programme in 2024 across Egypt, Kenya, Palestine, and South Sudan. It shows how young women, partners, and communities applied leadership, advocacy, and collective action in diverse contexts.
The report highlights what has worked in strengthening young women’s leadership, engaging communities, and advancing gender equality through locally led initiatives. It also reflects on the role of shared tools, faith and civil society engagement, and movement-wide coordination in supporting implementation across countries.
It provides practical insights to inform programme design, advocacy strategies, and movement-building efforts, and is relevant for young women, partners, and practitioners working to advance gender justice in their own contexts.
